India to return Chinese soldier who ‘strayed’ across LAC

Chinese soldier was taken into custody in the Demkchok sector of Eastern Ladakh on October 19th after he strayed the LAC. The People’s Liberation Army soldier was identified as corporal Wang ya Long, and was in the custody of the Indian army and will be returned to the Chinese troops at the Chushul–Moldo meeting point after the completion of formalities. The soldier was provided with the best medical assistance, including oxygen and was also given food and warm clothes.
