Shifting of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is not acceptable to India, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen. Bipin Rawat said on November 6, this comes in as China and India held the 8th round of Corps Commander talks at Chushul in order to resolve the ongoing stand-off. Speaking at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the National Defence College in New Delhi, he said that as the situation remains tense along the LAC, Chinese forces are facing extreme consequences for its misadventure in Ladakh because of firm responses by Indian forces.
