Ancient Buddhist monastery found in Jharkhand

THE Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has found a Buddhist monastery, which is at least 900 years old, buried under a mound like structure in the hilly village of Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. The finding comes almost two months after the discovery of another ancient Buddhist shrine, buried under a similar structure, barely 100 metres away from the spot.
