Reliance Industries Limited buys out retail & wholesale biz of Future group for ₹24,713 crore

Leaving no stone unturned Mukesh Ambani has set his eye clear on becoming Leader in Retail market competing rival Amazon. Reliance Retail Venture Limited Acquisition of Future Group’s Retail for ₹24,713 Crore has taken one step towards their goal. The deal marks the company’s transition away from its energy business, towards becoming a consumer-focused retail and telecom company. Future Enterprises Limited said its slump sale would include key formats such as Big Bazaar, fbb, Foodhall, Easyday, Nilgiris, Central and Brand Factory.
