The government will stock 44 lakh tonnes of oilseeds and pulses under the PM-AAASHA program

Government approves nine-state proposals for the purchase of pulses and oilseeds based on the minimum support price during the kharif marketing year beginning in October, said Minister of Agriculture, Radha Mohan Singh. We have given permission to nine states to buy pulses and oilseeds as part of the price support program, he said on the sidelines of the Agri World 2018 conference. Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are the nine states whose proposals have been approved.
