How Krishi Vigyan Kendra helps farmers avoid burning stubble
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) from Booh Village, Tarn Taran District, Punjab, under the auspices of Guru Angad Dev University for Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Ludhiana and with the support of the Indian Council of agricultural research (Atari), works with the region to transmit technical knowledge and promote agricultural technologies. Balwinder Kumar, deputy director of KVK, explains to Ishani Dutta Gupta the various programs used by Kendra to help farmers avoid burning stubble.
